2011 Dodge Nitro Review
When the 2011 Dodge Nitro first came out on the market, many reviewers felt that there were better compact SUVs as opposed to this vehicle. Although when compared to the rest of the class it does have good towing capacity, it really doesn’t measure up it lacks a smooth ride and has sluggish acceleration. This is surprising because the vehicle does have two V-6 engines available for purchase. Other reviewers mentioned that the steering of the Nitro was vague.
This vehicle gets 16 miles per gallon driving in the city and 22 miles per gallon driving on the highway. For the overall class, this is a low fuel economy rating. Unfortunately, this vehicle also has below average reliability and safety scores.
Many of today’s auto critics felt that the Nitro had lots of cargo space, but they also stated that the material used to design the interior was cheap. Those who took this SUV for a test drive commented that the vehicle controls were in a logical place. So that’s one positive that you can glean from this review.
2011 Dodge Nitro Accessories
As far as accessories and features are concerned, the Nitro has some excellent options that you may appreciate. Some of the best features are: roof rails, keyless vehicle entry, fog lights, satellite radio, stereo with auxiliary inputs, sunroof, Bluetooth, heated seats, cruise control, parking sensors, navigation and leather seating upholstery.
Critics felt that the front seats offered lots of legroom. They said that it’s plenty comfortable to sit inside of this vehicle. Unfortunately, there isn’t much space in the back seat for your legs. So that’s a negative against the 2011 Dodge Nitro.
