2011 GMC Terrain Review
When first released, critics had a lot to praise about the Terrain. They especially appreciate its large interior, and the capability to adapt it for taller passengers and more cargo thanks to the ability to slide the rear seat back and forth. Other than that, reviewer said that it has a refined and smooth ride that makes it perfect for cruising on the highway. The four-cylinder engine provides the Terrain with some of the best estimates and fuel economy among other compact SUVs. It also has top-notch safety ratings.
There are two available engines with the GMC Terrain. There is the 182 hp four-cylinder model, and then there is the V-6 264 hp engine. Obviously, the V-6 engine has a lot more pep. But no one really complained about the four-cylinder engine either, and said it was fine and you really notice the superior fuel economy.
In fact, the four-cylinder front-wheel-drive version gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. The V-6 model offers 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. It’s roughly the same for the all-wheel-drive model, although a little less.
