2011 Toyota Tundra Review
Those reviewing the 2011 model of the Tundra felt that handling was not up to par when compared to other full-size trucks. Mainly noted, this vehicle has a firm suspension which makes the ride quite rough.
The 2011 Tundra has a V6 and to available V-8 engines, which are quite powerful. Many test drivers appreciated the larger 5.7 L V-8 engine and felt that it was very quick.
A Tundra with rear wheel drive and a V-6 engine is capable of achieving 16 miles per gallon when driving in the city and 20 miles per gallon when driving on the highway. This is par for the course when compared to other full-size pickups of this kind.
As far as towing capacity is concerned, the vehicle can tow as much as 10,400 pounds when it contains the 5.7 L V-8 engine. This is just a little bit less than what the 2011 Ford F-150 can actually tow.
2011 Toyota Tundra Interior
Other reviewers felt that the interior was assembled quite well, and the controls were easy to use. They did note that higher trim levels did not provide the luxurious feel of many other full-size pickups in its class. But overall, people were quite impressed with the truck’s spaciousness.
A Tundra with a regular cab can easily seat three people. The models with the two row Double Cab and Crew Max can seat six people with very little difficulty.
