About the role
We're hiring a Consumer Product Manager to own the Consumer Marketplace product roadmap. The Consumer Marketplace includes all consumer facing surfaces including Ask CarEdge, Concierge, Pro, and the consumer-facing Dealer Transparency surface. You own the day to day product decisions that deliver on CarEdge's promise of delivering the best car buying experience in the world. You'll report into the Head of Consumer Product, and work in lockstep with Consumer engineering, Fulfillment, Agent and Dealer Marketplace teams.
What you'll own
- The Consumer Marketplace roadmap. Copilot, Concierge, Pro, AI Negotiator, and consumer-facing DTI. You sequence the work, make prioritization calls, and hold the bar on what ships.
- Copilot experience quality. Copilot is the front door to all three consumer tiers. Improvements to Copilot compound across every revenue line.
- Consumer-facing DTI surface. How grades show up on dealer pages, how the transparency narrative renders in the buying experience, how consumers understand and act on DTI signal. The Data team owns the underlying numbers; you own how buyers see and use it.
- Cross-functional partnership with Fulfillment. Every Concierge deal flows through the fulfillment team. Product decisions about the agent, Copilot handoffs, and buyer-facing tooling directly affect fulfillment cost and quality. You partner tightly with fulfillment on how product can reduce human time without breaking the experience.
- Voice of the buyer. You're in Copilot sessions, in Concierge deals, and in support tickets. You know what buyers actually experience, not just what the roadmap says.
Who you are
- 4-7 years of consumer product management experience.
- Strong at consumer-facing AI products.
- Subscription and funnel fluent.
- Strong partnership instincts.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and founding-team velocity.
- Strong at writing product specs, roadmap docs, prioritization memos, leadership updates.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, not a requirement.
