    I’ve been following Zach and Ray long enough to know that you guys know better than to recommend thousands of dollars in up front cash on a lease to make the monthly payment lower and that doesn’t even include taxes and dmv fees which you’ll also have to pay up front to get the listed monthly payment amounts.

    You don’t put any money down on a lease because if the car is totaled or stolen then you lose that up front money. Your insurance company writes a check to the legal owner which is the leasing company not you.

    Sam’s comment is spot on, even in the video on this page you say not to put any money down to walk out of the door with a lease. I assume you’re saying these are still good deals if you have them roll the “money down” into the monthly, assuming they will?
